For the Imeca brand we recently collaborated with their engineering team on the development of a new walk-to-work solution for implementation in various offshore tasks. Their innovative gangway concept challenged us with a range of technical capabilities as well as a need for easy accessibility to routinely perform maintenance.

Reel company asked Sketchform to help develop the industrial design for their innovative new knuckle boom crane concept, for their Imeca brand.
In close collaboration with their engineering team we translated the Imeca brand values into a signature design language that makes the crane stand out from the competition!

Wanderwatch
Client: Wanderwatch
For the Dutch startup Wanderwatch, Sketchform explored and developed the aesthetics and industrial design for their innovative new product solution that aimed to make kids play more outdoors.
Martijn van de Wiel
Sketchform is run by Martijn van de Wiel, industrial designer, design teacher and allround creative professional. Martijn has worked at several international design firms before founding his own design studio in The Hague.
Martijn also teaches sketching classes and workshops to help aspiring and professional designers unlock their creative super power. The institutes that he is affiliated with include: TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, Royal Academy of Art (KABK), and Hague University of Applied Science.
Edwin Wallet
Long time collaborator Edwin Wallet is also an independent designer and frequently teams up with Martijn to work on design projects together.
Besides being an excellent designer Edwin is also highly proficient in translating design sketches into super accurate 3D data using the latest and most effective CAD-tools available.
Studio
Sketchform is based in creative hotspot De DCR in downtown The Hague.
A small one-man studio is perhaps not what you expected, but don't be fooled!
With 20+ years of professional expertise, a strong network and a flexible design team, Martijn does not need a lot of space to explore and create!
